A huge thank you

I would just like to say a huge thank you for the presents at the end of term. I have had such a wonderful year with the class and look forward to seeing them grow and flourish in reception.

Thank you

Ian Herlihy

End of Term dates

The end of term is fast approaching. It only feels like they have just arrived. Here are some dates for your diary.

Tomorrow is our class assembly. The children are excited to show you all their hard work.

The children are welcome to bring in their own toys on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday we will be having a picnic in the park. We would love as many people to come and join us. We will be leaving school at 11am and will be heading to the play park for lunch and a play. We aim to return to school at 2.00pm. If your child is morning only, please pick them up at 12.00pm from the park or from school at 11.00am. If your child is due in for the afternoon please join us in the park.

The Nursery Team

Class assembly

It is our class assembly on Friday. If you child is not due in on Friday morning they are very welcome to join us. Please drop them off at nursery at the normal time and then you can collect them after the assembly.

Beach trip

What a wonderful day we had on Friday. If you have any pictures please email them in.

Food bank

Rosendale is very proud to be holding a Food Bank Drive and Competition. All of next week the children are being encouraged to bring in any old tins or packets that you have lurking in the backs of cupboards (within sell by date!) or any spare toiletries that you are willing to donate. Please no fresh food as it will be kept in school all week. The class that collects the most items will be rewarded with extra play.
All items collected will be donated to the Norwood and Brixton Foodbank. They have given us a list of items that they need:
Small instant coffee, sugar, tinned sweetcorn, tinned meat, tinned fruit, instant custard, bags of flour, small tins potatoes, small tins mixed veg, small bottles oil, longlife sponge puds, tinned custard, UHT milk and juice.
Soap, shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, washing powder, toilet rolls.
Thank you for your support.

Beach Trip

If your child is travelling with the school without an adult, please make sure they are in school by 8.45am. We will be leaving school at 8.50am sharp. If you are late then you will need to meet us at the train station.

Weekly round up

This week we have been learning about famous pirates. Did you know some female pirates pretended to be men.

Not long now until we head to the beach. Due to engineering works we will now be catching a later train back to school to avoid having to change onto a bus. The good news is we will be spending a little more time at the beach.

Please make sure you arrive at 5.50pm at West Dulwich Train station to pick you children up. The children will not be returned to school.
