This week we have been learning about a very smart giant who had an even bigger heart! He was so kind that he ended up giving away most of his clothes to animals in need. In maths we have been learning how to form the number 9. Can you send in a picture of the number 9.

Next week we will reading the story ‘Room on the broom’ and learning to retell a section of the book.

In numeracy we will be looking at forming some different numbers.

If you would still like to give £5 contribution for resources- we would really appreciate your generosity, thank you!

Have a wonderful weekend!

We had a blast at the science museum, playing in the best water area ever and exploring echoes and microphones. We saw plane engines, rockets and the oldest televisions in the world.

In Numeracy we have been learning about shapes.

Next week we’re becoming vulcanologists. We’ve heard news that there’s going to be an eruption in the school on Wednesday so children will need to bring in a survival pack on that day. Think goggles, torches, blankets, flasks, cameras and binoculars. We can’t be too prepared, guys.
Have a fantastic weekend!

Did you know that you cannot put out an electrical fire with water? Firefighters carry oxygen tanks on their backs and wear gloves to protect their hands. Do you know any other facts about firefighters? If you would like to make a thank you card for the firefighters this weekend then we can send them altogether from school.

There was a fire in the forest area of our school yesterday- thankfully Fireman Dave was there to save the day and safely put the fire out. Hooray!

Next week we are looking at more of the emergency services- if there are any parents who work in this field we would love if you could send in some pictures or even come in and answer some questions for us in person!

Have a brilliant weekend superstars!
